In allergic dogs, type I hypersensitivity (IgE-mediated) accounts for 71%–85.4% of cases, causing skin, respiratory, and gastrointestinal symptoms. Allergen exposure triggers specific IgE production, elevating total IgE levels (normal range: 1–22 μg/ml); significant elevation indicates an allergic state or risk. Using a double-antibody sandwich method, this kit aids in diagnosing allergic reactions when combined with other clinical assessments.
